Anti-corrosion Function For Carbon Steel Flange

The shape and size of carbon steel flanges is accurate with small machining volume&lower cost. The carbon content of ordinary carbon steel flange is lower than that of cast flange, so it is not easy to rust. Shear force,tensile force&mechanical properties are better than forged flanges.

There are several ways to distinguish between ordinary flanges and cast flanges.

（1）there are some trachoma in the casting flange and forged flange doesn’t have this situation. Sometimes crack will occur in the forged flanges

（2）For the same dimensions of flanges, cast flanges will be lighter than forged flanges
