OEM Guages For Machined Forging Parts

Generally speaking, the sizes will be inspected by callipers, micrometer or CMM. But sometimes the inspection will not be so accurate as the sizes is not so easy to get. Then it is time to prepare a inspection guage as following.

Here is the machined forging parts. It is not regular, but we need to monitor the sizes between the drilled holes and the drilled holes to the boss. The boss is coming from forging and be rough status. So it is not easy to get the centerline of the boss. 

Then we will do the following inspection guages. The guages are coming from the CNC machining. It is very accurate and in the middle-value of the designed sizes. With this Go guage, we will be easily do 100% inspection. By the way, the guage is confirmed by CMM already and we will do random test on the parts by callipers.
