Contourgraph To Test The Contour

The Contourgraph is an instrument for testing and inspecting the outline, two-dimensional size and two-dimensional displacement of an object. It is widely used as a precision measuring instrument in the automobile manufacturing and railway industries. 

It can measure the prime shape, straightness, angle, convexity, logarithmic curve, groove depth, groove width and other parameters of various precision mechanical parts.

The picture is showing that we are doing the test for the thread. As the part is used for petroleum, it is very critical to have the thread right. Besides the GO & No-Go Guage, the thread contour should be always qualified. And it is the way to make sure the tightness and also prevent the oil leakage.
